Questions before you write

If yours isn't here, ask when you book.

Do you take my insurance?

It depends on your plan. Orthodontic benefits are often separate from dental benefits, so Naomi checks yours and writes down what she finds. The fees page lists the kinds of plans we work with.

What if I don't have insurance?

You pay yourself. You get a written estimate in advance, and financing is offered by third-party lenders. Approval and terms are set by the lender.

Do you accept Medicaid or CHIP?

No. We are not enrolled with either one.

Will it hurt?

Teeth can feel tight or tender for a few days with each new set. We explain what's normal and what to do if something rubs.

How often do I need X-rays?

Only when Dr. Hussain needs them to plan or check your treatment. She tells you why.

Can I get a written estimate before treatment?

Yes. You get the plan and the estimate in writing, and you decide in your own time.

How long will it take?

It depends on your teeth and on how closely you wear each set. Dr. Hussain gives you her expectation as an estimate, not a promise.

Do you see children?

This office sees adults. For anyone younger, call us and we'll help you find the right office.

What counts as an emergency?

Spreading swelling, trouble breathing or swallowing, a serious blow to the head or bleeding that won't stop needs the emergency room or 911. A lost tray or a poking wire is a call to us.

Are aligners right for everyone?

No. Some bites need braces, and some teeth need other care first. Dr. Hussain tells you when aligners aren't the right tool.

What if I lose a tray or a retainer?

Call us as soon as you can. We tell you whether to wear what you have, stop or come in.

How do I change or cancel a visit?

Call or text us as early as you can. We'd rather move a visit than lose the time.

Still wondering?

Book a scan visit and ask Dr. Hussain in person.
