At the visit
What happens in the scan room
Maeve takes you to the scan room and scans your teeth with a handheld scanner. Dr. Hussain looks at your gums and teeth, asks what you'd like to change, and shows you the model on the screen. If aligners are an option, she shows you how they would move your teeth, and then Naomi writes the estimate.

Before your first visit
What should I wear or avoid?
Wear what you like. Brush before you come, because Maeve scans clean teeth most easily.
Do I need a referral from my dentist?
No. If your dentist has records or X-rays, bring them or ask them to send them.
Will I start treatment at the first visit?
No. You get the plan and the estimate first, and you decide when you're ready.
